Series Ventures (시리즈벤처스) said it held "2026 FLY ASIA G-VENSDAY," an investor relations demo day connecting 11 startups from Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province with global investors, on October 8 at Hall 1 of BEXCO in Busan.

The event was hosted by the Busan Metropolitan Government and Series Ventures, and organised by the Busan Technology Startup Investment Agency, the city's startup investment body, and the Korea Early Stage Investment Accelerator Association. It was set up to widen the opportunities for startups in the three-region area to raise investment and enter overseas markets.

Representatives of global accelerators and venture capital firms attended. The 11 participating companies presented their business models, core technologies and strategies for entering global markets, and took questions from investors.

The companies taking part in the demo day were Elba, Cools, MUTron, UWellNow, WiseBio, Feelheat, Hunk Technologies, Levion, Tyndallo, Inkflock and Lab of Apparel.

The participants were identified and selected through an accelerator programme run by Series Ventures. Three of them have been chosen for the global track of KIBO Venture Camp, a programme run by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.

The pitching session was followed by open networking between the companies and investors. Those attending discussed overseas market entry and business cooperation alongside investment reviews.

Park Jun-sang, co-chief executive of Series Ventures, said: "The purpose of this event is for regional startups to meet global investors directly, show what their businesses can do and create new investment and cooperation opportunities." He added, "We will keep expanding investment and network connections so that promising companies can grow into global markets."

Kwak Sung-wook, co-chief executive of Series Ventures, said: "This was a place where regional startups and global accelerators and venture capital firms communicated directly in one room." He said he hoped "this meeting leads to investment and global business expansion for the participating companies."

Series Ventures said it plans to use the network of companies and investors formed at the G-VENSDAY event to support follow-on investment reviews and global business cooperation.
